Women of the Silk Road portrays 4 women from 4 countries of the Silk Road: Turkey, Oman, Iran and Tajikistan, met by director/storyteller Yassamin Maleknasr. They are part of an undocumented legacy, a legacy of handcrafts and labor, a legacy of love and death, a legacy that began before written time. Each one of their stories is a lesson in how love and courage can weave strength into human heart.
